Rice is an understated food in our day to day life, especially white rice(though contains vitamin B12). This is because of its high calories, low fibre and low glycemic index. White rice usually has these low nutritional value compared to other forms of rices due to the polishing process. Polishing removes the most important parts of barn and the germ of the grain hence the low nutrition profile which increases the risk of diabetes.
