My neighbors, 60 year old couple are the one who actually made me to think about crafting Nutreat specially for diabetic, a tasty way of having brown rice. The tasty crispy dosa is always my choice as breakfast, making it healthier with brown rice is more fun for me. It is a good choice for breakfast and can be made very easily in very little time. Best served with Peanut chutney or Coconut chutney. People with hypertension/diabetes/ weight loss, can have 1 or 2 dosa along with Curry leaf powder/Flax seed Chilli powder as snacks/breakfast.
This is most simple dish normally prepared all over India. But a normal upma with refined wheat rava is almost with full of empty calories. So, preparing this easy dish with healthy brown rice is a good choice for breakfast/dinner. However, Nutreat gives you the best upma ever with brown rice. This dish is most famous in Tamilnadu where they cook the plain rice with moong dal. Of course this dish is most nutritious and simple dish that we can prepare with brown rice. Add cow ghee for low calories. Good as breakfast.
